Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes Release Date Announced

If you’re like me, you’ve been wondering since May 2020 ”when will the new hunger games prequel movie be released?”.

Well the release date has finally been announced! The movie has been set to release on November 17th, 2023. This feels like ways away but a year and a half goes by pretty quickly these days.

As of now , nothing has been confirmed as far as casting goes, but my dream cast blog post has gotten a decent amount of attention and I’m hoping that someone from Lionsgate has had a chance to look at it. If you haven’t gotten a chance to check it out, I’ll link it here

Cody Fern as Coriolanus Snow

J.K. Simmons as Dean Highbottom

Stanley Tucci as Lucky Flickerman

Anya Taylor-Joy as Tigris Snow

Francis Lawrence is set to return as Director and Michael Arndt as Screenwriter. This makes me feel confident that the prequel will not disappoint. I just hope that it’s 3 hours long so we can get all the details from the book that are worth keeping (which is literally everything).
