Welcome to Si’ Between the Lines!

For those of you who know me, you may be here to see what this blog is all about. For those of you who don’t, you may already have an idea and hopefully that’s what has brought you here. Either way I am very excited to share with you this journey that I am embarking on.

Si’ Between the Lines is a blog that I am creating that will be based in faith, books, and community. The ultimate goal and vision for this blog is to create an enriching book club experience where people from all over can come together and discuss an assortment of different books from all genres. For now, in order to build this community of readers, I will be creating blog posts that will include book reviews, my favorite bible verses, and much more that I hope will keep you all interested and entertained.

I came up with the idea for this blog in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. While quarantining I was able to pick up reading again. It has always been one of my favorite hobbies, but after graduating from college, taking the CPA exams, and starting a full time job, I wasn’t prioritizing it like I wanted (Except for my binge-reading of the Hunger Games Series before starting work). Now with everything going on, it can be very easy to feel isolated and alone. My hope is that this blog will help connect readers and give them an opportunity to express their thoughts and feelings about the books they love. Selfishly, I’m excited to do the same!
